ID Sync for Nomad Biometrics Authentication, Traveler now supports MySQL and Notes on Big Sur.

HCL aren’t shy on rolling out big new features are they….

There’s been three significant releases in the last 24 hours.

HCL Notes and Domino have both have 11.0.1 FP2 released and Traveler similarly has 11.0.2.

These are not bog standard fix packs.

If you’re running HCL Notes on Mac you’re going to want to upgrade immediately as it includes multiple fixes for Notes on Big Sur, which was officially released less than a week ago.

For Windows HCL Notes users there are fixes too though to be honest I’ve found 11.0.1 FP1 to be rock sloid the past few months.

In HCL Domino what I’d be looking at is the support for ID Sync of Notes IDs enabled with Biometric Authentication. Biometric Authentication has been enabled in Nomad already but this is important update.

Again as always there’s more fixes in there, some around improvements to some of the newer features such as DirSync and DAOS tier 2 storage.

You can find the full details on Notes/Domino 11.0.1 FP2 here.

For Traveler there’s fixes and updates, two of the bigger ones being a new APNS cert and support for MySQL for high availability, that’s a really welcome addition. Catch up on all the details here
