In case you missed the webinar last week – from next year all Notes/Domino releases will contain a marketing moniker based on the year. So Notes/Domino 14.5.1 (will still be Notes/Domino 14.5.1 but also) will be known as Notes/Domino 2026. I love this move, I think it’s in keeping with other vendors. It makes it easy for customers to identify the year a release went out. There’s also an implicit implication that major releases on the platform will be regular enough to warrant there number being linked to a year.
Well the Early Access Program opened earlier this week for the first of the releases under this new moniker.
It is open to everyone with a license. HCL want you to see where they are on the new release and want your feedback on it now when your opinion can influence the direction of the product.
All you need to do is log into https://my.hcltechsw.com select HCL Domino and you’ll see the option there.
