Last week HCL announced the end of Support for Domino 11 in June 2025. This follows up on the end of support for Notes/Domino 9 and 10 last month. I don’t think it would take a clairvoyant to predict as HCL have such a regular release cycle now, this will likely become a regular occurrence. As HCL release one major release, one older release will be dropped. This means there’ll likely be 2-3 major releases supported, which makes sense, and is line with industry norms. It does not make sense to maintain product versions for years earlier with multiple versions have been released since.
Later in the year we can expect the first Early access of the version of Domino beyond 14.0. So the logical release cycle follows on from that. There really are more reasons that ever to keep your Domino environment up to date and this is another one.
