We’d an unbelievable few days in Ghent at Engage 2026.
Quick Thoughts.
(1). A lot of people had a lot of thoughts on Domino IQ, AI and data sovereignty.
(2). Domino 2027 (14.5.2) will be getting things it really, really needs and has needed for quite a time (TLS 1.3 HTTP/2). With the usual caveats around plans can change. What probably should be stated is implicit with the new marketing moniker associated with a year us that- that it appears for the foreseeable Notes/Domino will get a significant release every year.
(3). I’m not a developer but the class script map from OpenNTF is cool:
(4). Domino Workspace is coming. Version 2 of same is already being worked on.
(5). Meeting Users, Partners, Ambassadors, HCLers in person gives us a huge amount as a community (and I didn’t get enough opportunity to speak in enough detail to everybody I intended to)
(6). Ghent is beautiful.
(7). The stadium was a unique venue and really actually worked exceptionally well.
(8). Kris and Tom delivered a superb event in challenging circumstances. You’re both an absolute credit to the community.
